“I had the pleasure of attending my cousin's wedding at the Chocksett Inn in Sterling. I was pleasantly surprised that this quaint New England Inn was built in the 80's. It looked like it had been there forever. Our room was cozy & nicely appointed. We relaxed for a while, and then ventured down to the front desk to ask about local places to eat. She recommended their own restaurant. We started with the Duck & Apple Tart. It literally melted in your mouth! My husband ordered the Maple Braised Short Ribs & I had the Pecan Encrusted Salmon. Our waitress recommended we try the Wachusett beer on tap. We always like to try the local brews! The salmon was served over rice with a seasonal vegetable and was delicious & fresh
